Following the signature of an agreement between Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) and Kazan Federal University (Russia), ATU was selected as one of the official authorities to hold TORFL (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language) tests in Iran.

Following the signature of an agreement between Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) and Kazan Federal University (Russia), ATU was selected as one of the official authorities to hold TORFL (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language) tests in Iran.

According to Dr Mousa Abdollahi, Vice Dean for Research at the Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages, "During ATU President's participation in the Sixth Forum of the Rectors of top Iranian and Russian Universities, a cooperation agreement was signed between ATU and Kazan Federal University. Thanks to this agreement, ATU was chosen as the leading authority in Iran to hold TORFL tests. In this way, ATU will be responsible for holding this specialized test at the levels defined in the agreement."

Dr Abdollahi then added: "TORFL tests will be held in the form of standardized tests, and Kazan Federal University will award participants who get the necessary points valid TORFL certificates. Students in different fields, especially those applying for medical studies at Russian universities and required to provide an A2 certificate in the Russian language, can benefit from the TORFL test.
