Peer-Reviewed Quarterly Journals

To date, the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences (LPS) is regularly publishing 5 peer-reviewed, academic quarterly journals, of which 3 journals are related to legal studies and 2 are dealing with state-of-the-art research in politics and international relations.
The five journals of the Faculty are presented below in alphabetical order.

Journal of Criminal Law Research

Journal of Criminal Law Research, Allameh Tabataba'i University

The Quarterly Journal of Criminal Law Research (JCLR) is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, Allameh Tabataba’i University. Criminal Law Research has been established to provide an intellectual platform for national and international researchers working on issues related to criminal law. The Journal was founded as a response to quick advancements in criminal law and was dedicated to the publication of the highest-quality research studies that report findings on issues of great concern to the profession of criminal law.
To allow for easy and worldwide access to the most updated research findings, the journal is set to be an open-access journal. Thus, the journal does not charge any fee for reviewing, processing, and publishing research papers from the authors or from the research institutes and organizations. All the mentioned processes for paper publication are sponsored by Allameh Tabataba’i University press.
The journal is published in both a print and an online version.
