In the preliminary rounds of the Intellectual Property Moot Competitions hosted by the University of Oxford, the moot court team from Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU), Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, obtained the necessary scores to be admitted into the oral stage of these international competitions.

ATU's moot court team comprises Ali Kamali, a student specializing in intellectual property law; Ehsan Gerdabi, a student of international commercial law; and Reyhaneh Ashtiani, an ATU alumni. In the oral round, 28 teams will compete from universities all around the world.

The University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, the University of Ottawa (Canada), and the University of Sydney (Australia) are among the teams with which ATU's team will compete in the next round. The oral stage of the competition is scheduled to take place from 24 to 26 February 2024 at the University of Oxford.
