The Competition and Platform Monopoly Council held a session titled “Legal Analysis of the Competition Council's Recent Decisions Regarding Internet Platforms” on Wednesday, June 27, 2025, at the Faculty of Law and Political Science.
The event featured presentations by Dr. Gholam Ali Sedghi, former judicial member of the Competition Council; Dr. Ali Mohammad Fallahzadeh, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, Allameh Tabataba’i University; and Dr. Mohammad Sadeq Farahani, Deputy for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs at the National Cyberspace Center.
Speakers addressed the legal implications of recent rulings by the Competition Council concerning online platforms, exploring the intersection of national regulations, digital market dynamics, and governance frameworks. The session attracted legal scholars, students, and professionals interested in competition law and digital policy.
