Academic Calendar 2025–2026

The University Educational Council has officially approved the academic calendar for the upcoming academic year 2025–2026 (1404–1405). The schedule covers important dates for registration, classes, examinations, and grade submissions for all levels of study.

First Semester (Fall 2025)

• Course Registration: September 12–16, 2025

• Start of Classes: September 20, 2025

• Add & Drop Period: October 4–8, 2025

• End of Withdrawal: January 7, 2026

• End of Classes: January 7, 2026

• Final Exams (all levels): January 31 – February 17, 2026

• Submission of Undergraduate Grades: February 10–17, 2026

• Submission of Graduate Grades (M.A. & Ph.D.): March 1–19, 2026

• Ph.D. Comprehensive Exams:

  • Written: December 27, 2025

  • Oral: December 28, 2025

Second Semester (Spring 2026)

• Course Registration: February 7–10, 2026

• Start of Classes: February 14, 2026

• Add & Drop Period: February 28 – March 4, 2026

• End of Withdrawal: June 17, 2026

• End of Classes: June 17, 2026

• Final Exams (all levels): June 27 – July 8, 2026

• Submission of Undergraduate Grades: June 27 – July 18, 2026

• Submission of Graduate Grades (M.A. & Ph.D.): June 27 – August 8, 2026

• Ph.D. Comprehensive Exams:

  • Written: May 23, 2026

  • Oral: May 24, 2026

The University emphasizes that students must complete registration, course selection, and grade submissions strictly within the announced deadlines through the Golestan Educational System. Compliance with the Ministry of Science’s requirement of 16 weeks of instruction per semester is mandatory.
