In Response to Recent Israeli Aggression, Iranian Law Professors Call for Urgent International Action In the wake of recent acts of aggression by Israel against Iran, a group of Iranian law professors has issued an urgent appeal to the international academic community and global organizations. In their letter, the scholars highlight serious violations of international humanitarian law, particularly the targeting of civilians, humanitarian aid centers, nuclear facilities, media outlets, and critical civilian infrastructure. The statement calls for immediate international cooperation to halt hostilities and to uphold the fundamental principles of international law, especially the protection of non-combatants and civilian objects during armed conflict.
