The special position of the Middle East region in the international arena has always maintained its importance in the struggle between great powers. It is for this reason that the competition of great powers in the international system will be incomplete without taking into account their competition in regional dimensions, especially in the Middle East region. In this direction, on one hand, the presence of the United States as a trans-regional power and on the other hand, China as an emerging power that seeks to increase its power in the international arena, creates a special model of competition in the international arena and, by nature, in the Middle East region. . The main question of this research is how the results of competition between two countries in the Middle East region emerge. The type of research is descriptive-analytical, which uses library data collection to evaluate the effect of the independent variable, the competition between America and China in the region, on the dependent variable, i.e. Iran's national security. Understanding the position of the Middle East region in the foreign policy of both countries and searching for the fields of this competition in the Middle East region and identifying the conflicting interests that turn the fields of potential competition between these two countries into actual fields in reaching the answer to the main question of this thesis, which examines the impact of the competition between America And China is in the region and its effect on Iran's national security is mandatory. The results of this research show that despite the desire of both countries to avoid competing with each other in the region, their conflicting interests in this region have unintentionally led them to increase tension. Along the path from ۲۰۱۰ to ۲۰۲۲, the potential fields of competition between the two powers will become the actual fields of competition. The competition in the economic, cultural, political, security and military fields, which was initially pursued with the aim of increasing the influence of the two countries in the region, eventually took on the aspects of containing China from the side of the United States. This competition between the two countries in the region has directly and indirectly affected Iran's national security, which in most cases endangers Iran's national security and in one case secures Iran's national security. In general, the increase in competition between two actors in the region increases the level of security threats against Iran.
