  The purpose of this research was to investigate the impact of Trump's policies on the social cohesion and separatism of the states, and the main question of the research was that what effect did Trump's coming to power have on the independence of the states? In this regard, it seems that Trump's rise to power in the United States has reduced social cohesion and strengthened independence tendencies in some of the United States. This research was done based on library sources and descriptive-explanatory method. The results of the surveys showed that the issue of separatism in the United States of America is not a new issue and is rooted in the history of this country. Trump, who was the president of this country from ۲۰۱۶ to ۲۰۲۰, by adopting policies that were not in favor of some important states, led to states such as California and Texas asking for secession. There was a desire for secession among the people of these states for many years, and Trump's appointment only led to the old wound of separatism becoming soldiers, and such tension cannot be attributed only to Trump and his policies. On the other hand, the issue of separatism was suspended after the end of the ۴-year term of Trump's presidency, and it is still an issue that has remained at the level of words. What is obvious and clear is that this case of separatism in America is still open and we have to see what will happen in the future. Especially the result of the ۲۰۲۴ election, if it is the scene of the competition between Biden and Trump, this can lead to the further escalation of this issue. The federal government has always been looking for ways to resolve such disputes. Like all federal systems, the US model strikes a "point of symmetry" between competing claims to local autonomy and national interdependence, allocating governing authority among the levels of government that each best advances the overall goal. Interdisciplinary innovation and governance has helped strengthen the American Union against the kinds of conflicts that can create fragmentation.
