The results of this research show that the expansion of the European Union towards the east has had a positive effect on the values of peace, economic prosperity, and prosperity. On the positive side, eastward expansion has helped promote peace and stability in Europe. The accession of former communist countries to the European Union has helped to integrate them into the European security structure and has also helped to reduce the risk of conflict between these countries. Eastward expansion has also had a positive effect on economic prosperity. The accession of new member states has created new markets for EU trade and has also helped attract foreign investment to these countries. However, eastward expansion has also created challenges. One challenge is that the new member states have different economic and social systems than the old member states. This has made it difficult for these countries to integrate into the European Union and has also led to tensions between the old and new member states. Other challenges explored in this research include security challenges, economic inequality, political instability, skilled labor migration, Brexit, and expansion fatigue. Despite these challenges, eastward expansion has been largely successful. It has helped promote peace, economic prosperity, and prosperity in Europe.
